Lip Lift
How is it Different from Regular Filler Injections?
- A new way of injecting to make the lip fuller and taller, avoiding the overdone or “ducky” look.
- The retrograde vertical pillar injection acts as a strut to vertically stretch the lip.
- Typically injects 0.5ml of high G prime filler (e.g., Juvederm Voluma) in a superficial location and reassess the result at 2-3 weeks.
- Creates a more heart-shaped lip rather than a sausage-like lip.
- Accentuates the central portion of the lip.
- More injection entry points along the vermillion border for better control.
- Superficial subdermal plane reduces the risk of vascular complications.
Process and Pain:
Dr. Boonipat performs a nerve block inside your mouth to completely numb your lips. The injection process takes 15-60 minutes, and you can see immediate results. The injection is more superficial than traditional lip filler injections and therefore hurts less.
How Long Does it Last?
Results last from 6-9 months. Some patients metabolize the filler faster, leading to shorter results.
Downtime:
There is practically no downtime. The side effect profile is similar to regular filler injections.
