Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. My surgery (lipo 360) was delayed, but I understand this happens so no big deal. The pre and post medication plan is outstanding. I’m very sore but my pain is very well controlled. Just a day after surgery so results are tbd however even at this point I can see that I’ll be very happy with the results.

I have been seeing Dr Lawton since 2017. He has always been upfront and honest with me when I ask questions. If there is something I want to do and he doesnt think it is safe and can do me harm he will not do it. I have always respected him for that instead of doing it just for the money. age 62 female/smoker. Capsulectomy/Capsulotomy with implant reduction. Dr Lawton is hands down a phenomenal SURGEON. It would be unfair for anyone to criticize his personality; he's not going to show up with balloons and cupcakes as he should not be expected to. My husband and I both were most impressed with his straight to the point answers, we didn't go to him to make a best friend, we went to him because of his knowledge and professionalism. He has a phenomenal staff to take care of all other concerns. If anyone should be criticized LOL, it would be this ole girl; I may have drove staff crazy with my concerns or my own confusion. Jennifer is a pure Gem, she was good at calming me down, Becca is a wonderful nurse as are the front desk Velencia and all other staff. I am 3 weeks post-surgery and have followed all of his instructions as far as limitations, medications etc. and my healing is almost painless, no bruising etc. I still have several follow up appts to come and we are out of town, but the travel has been worth it to know that I was in the best care from day 1 to present. Long story short…. I had my breast implants EXPLANTED by Dr. Lawton 6/11/24. Although a huge decision I felt it best due to health reasons I have struggled with Lupus and a multitude of other ailments for 9 years and I just wanted my life back after extensive research I realized that BII is REAL,. And alot of plastic surgeons don’t want to accept BII as a “real thing” but Dr.Lawton does and made my husband and I feel at ease on the very first visit. I scheduled my surgery all went great.I have to acknowledge his entire staff as being top notch and super sweet. ALTHOUGH ONE particular young lady stood out above the crowd, this young lady is extremely compassionate and caring and it beams REBECCA you are truly full of grace and love ! When I made the decision to “Explant” at age 53 it was a huge deal ecspecially the unknown of what will be left and what will I look like after having a size D all these years. I didn’t expect the next day after my surgery at my post op appt to have the bandages removed this soon it was the part I knew would hit me hard! Rebecca asked if I was ready I said for what ? She said to take the bandages off well I froze because deep down I was not ! As my husband sat there they were both amazing….. I started tearing up and then it came a river ! Well this young lady cried along with me not bc I looked bad but she knew what I had to be feeling after 23 years of implants now maybe a size A or B l!!! Fast forward almost 2 weeks and I’m rocking the little bitties and feeling free as ever ! So sorry for the long post but I’m a review reader as well and DR.Lawton you are TRULY AMAZING ! I cannot say enough about the care and attention to my healing in this practice. While Dr. Lawton leads the team, each nurse showed specific knowledge and patience and support that helped me through the hard times. This recovery has been hard and then no big deal, then terrifying and back to easy peasy. I have gone through every emotion. I have a very physical job that I returned to in 4 weeks with restrictions. Here are my DO’s: DO Rest, Follow every instruction for wound care which includes limiting activity and nutrition, Eat 100g+ of protein, Drink lots of water, Buy another box of the post surgery supplements from CoolMed, Use the nurse email for any questions (they are sooo nice and thorough), Use a recliner or electric bed and take your own pictures a couple times a week. Also- DO have patience: 1. With yourself and your body’s healing (trust the process), and 2. Also with appointments- you will get the extra time with Dr. Lawton & nurses when you need it so know that you may wait a little sometimes because someone else needs them. Don’t give up. When you feel overwhelmed, shake it off. It gets better, wayyyy better.

WOW!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!! Look no further for a FANTASTIC plastic surgeon. Dr Lawton's patients are his number one priority. He only does what is SAFE, listens to your wants and will explain everything. I am a 61 year old grandmother who was VERY nervous to even consider these procedures, but Dr Lawton really made me feel very comfortable about not being to old to feel pretty again after my wight loss journey. My first procedure was a lift and then breast augmentation. Dr. Lawton is AMAZING! I came in with breast implant illness. Dr. Lawton listened to me, he was sympathetic, and explained to me the best way to do the surgery and why. He took my capsules out from an incision under the nipple. I’m post surgery one year, my scars under my nipples aren’t visible. His staff was sympathetic and helpful making the appointment and explaining what to do and what not to do before and after the surgery. I followed his recovery instructions exactly and I feel amazing! I am so grateful for Dr. Lawton I feel like I have my life back. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for any elective surgery. Hi. I started my weight loss journey 3 years ago. Dr Lawton was the first Dr I went to see about my procedure. I looked into other drs and they contacted me through email or text messages saying to send pictures and the cost was cheaper.I was never going to see any of those drs until after surgery if I’m lucky. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift Dec 2022. Now Dec 2023 arm lift and breast augmentation. I am amazed at the recovery. I strongly believe the vitamins and the vitamin infusion the day after surgery has alot to do with it. I stop taking pain meds within 3 days. Healing has been quick and scarring very minimal. Dr. Lawton always addressed any concerns. Compared to others I visited, several I never saw the Doctor. Others offered no vitamins just was told I would be in alot of pain but would have lots of pain meds. From my personal experience Dr. Lawton and staff is the best. Definitely know what they are doing.

I finally decided to have a breast reduction and lift. I was so self-conscious of them that I felt I needed to do something about it. I spoke with my doctor about it and she recommended Dr. Lawton. I don't immediately sign off on someone before I do my research. I knew the doctor I would choose had their work cut out for them. I knew how things might heal on my body. I read many reviews, and most are very good. I viewed his past patients results and they were impressive. I made the appointment. He was very forward initially. And with a little conversation, he became more pleasant. He was always very informative. He told me what to expect upfront. His staff is always welcoming and informative as well. So the first surgery went well. I did what was asked, and things came out as expected overall. I was happy! With all he had to work with (meaning my condition) he did a great job! Over the past 3 years I have had a breast reduction, abdominoplasty, and a revision with Dr Lawton after losing 150 pounds. Dr Lawton is the most experienced knowledgeable surgeon that I have seen. When I had a wound he sent me for hyperbaric treatments and kept the area free from infection. He provided extra IV vitamins and injections to promote healing - all included in my surgery price. I had - and still have - a lot of questions and often do not think of them until after I see him in office. I send him emails with a list or questions and concerns - he responds to every email himself. He has an answer to all of my questions, and when I think he is being too conservative, he has proven to be correct. From his anesthesiologist to his nurses, his entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. He has the surgery process streamlined - from pre op to post op care. I highly recommend.

Dr. Lawton is not your typical plastic surgeon. He’s better than anyone else out there. Initially, he’s not warm and fuzzy, but he doesn’t need to be. He does amazing work and he CARES about your body and your health. It took me a while to learn that just because your plastic surgeon greets you with a smiling face doesn’t mean that translates into good work on your body. Dr. Lawton doesn’t tell you what you want to hear. In fact, he doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He’s not going to tell you he can do something when he can’t. He backs up every answer with scientific evidence which is more than I can say about a lot of others. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I didn’t want a breast lift, but I wanted them higher, he did this. He’s a magical/miracle worker. I couldn’t have dreamed up better results. You’re in the best hands in San Antonio. I had Explantation of Breast Implants (one of which was ruptured). Dr. Lawton has been amazing throughout this. He took me back into surgery (for the breast that had the ruptured implant) that wasn’t healing perfectly and charged me absolutely nothing for the additional surgery. Having surgery to correct my body shape from other surgeries had me very nervous. Dr Lawton was very straight forward and transparent before and during my surgery. The anesthesiologist was also phenomenal. I did not get sick and did not have any post surgery side effects which was a pleasant surprise. I was also surprised at how little pain I was in during the first week and stopped taking the pain medication day 4 except to help go to sleep since sleeping on a wedge was not the most comfortable for me since I had my back and abdomen done. The only prescription I used completely and used a refill on was the anti nausea as the first few days and occasionally in the morning I need help settling my stomach. I am very excited about coming back in a year to have corrective surgery in my legs as I am already seeing symmetry in my upper body where work was done. I will say, you should plan to wait for a while in the waiting room, but it is worth the wait.

Doctor Lawton is an exceptional surgeon to say the least. I had implants for 7 years and for the past several years I had been diagnosed with many random conditions, from Tinnitus sometimes so severe that caused migraines; Crohn's disease I was prescribed several rounds of Budesonide which weakened my immune system; Tenosynovitis which unable me to use my right hand; constant eczema on my eye lids, inexplicable panic disorders which made it challenging for me to perform simple tasks such as driving; Diverticulitis and a serious growing lump in my colon; inflammation on my hips and legs which made it difficult and painful to walk to the point I had to use a cane; I developed severe allergies which I though it was normal since I live in Texas, the list goes on, I was slowly dying. In an attempt to heal myself I changed my diet and became vegan hoping that would help my illnesses. I had a suspicion that these conditions were related to my implants just like the capsular contraction that developed over and over in my right breast which unable me to ride my bike and do yoga. No too many doctors believe that Breast Implant Illness (BII) is real, but Doctor Lawton did. I can truly say that Doctor Lawton saved my life. Two months ago I got my implants explanted, Doctor Lawton performed an En Bloc Total Capsulectomy through nipple incision, and yes it is possible, but it takes a lot of skill which is what sets Doctor Lawton apart. I am still healing since this is a complicated slow process, and slower due to my age. I am 55 years old and I am happy to say that my illnesses and severe conditions are slowly going away, I don't have any more ringing in my ears (Tinnitus) since the day after the surgery it miraculously went away, I haven't had to take any more medications for allergies since inexplicably are gone, the pain and swell in my abdomen due to Diverticulitis and Crohn's is non existent as well, I am able to walk without pain, the pain in my hip and legs are gone, so are the almost daily panic attacks. I am alive and forever thankful to Doctor Lawton and his entire care team, they are supportive, kind and quickly responsive. I am so grateful to have found Doctor Lawton.

I had Gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Lawton and I absolutely loved the fact that he’s in this business to help patients feel good about themselves and not just in it for the money. He wants his patients to be completely satisfied. To be honest, I didn’t like the way I looked after my first surgery, so he was straight to the point on how he wanted to handle my situation in-particular. Without another dollar spent, he wanted me to come back in for a touch up and did a fantastic job. If that doesn’t say he cares about his patients happiness, I don’t know what does. After numerous consultations, with several other well recommended plastic surgeons (most I actually liked and a couple I might've trusted to do my surgery) I landed on Dr. Lawton. I’d also like to give a big shout out to Bernadette surgery nurse, she is a doll … just amazing in every aspect from explanation to reassuring Avery nervous scared patient , to next day check up post surgery. She was very informative and made sure I fully understood my post op directions. She us definitely a treasure! They all are ️

Dr. Lawton and his staff are absolutely amazing . I had an Explant Enbloc Capulectomy procedure done on September 9, 2021 and feel amazing and the results look absolutely beautiful. I truly wish I had not waited so many years to have it done . I had my implants for over 21 years and having issue with them over last few years , mostly had changed with them being heavy causing back pain, and I a smaller person and they made me look heavier. Dr. Lawton is so careful with COVID , Everyone is screened and only patients are allowed in snd masked , but yet they keep your family members ,friends and love ones in the loop. He uses a very holistic approach to surgery. It’s all inclusive in the surgery itself , but he prescribes vitamins that reduce inflammation and bruising , and I have none. I was also prescribed antibiotics and pain medication’s, which I have had no pain and have felt amazing from right after the surgery. My family was shocked on how great I looked and felt. I am beyond happy with the results. Dr. Lawton did an amazing job and his staff are o pleasant and so professional.

Absolutely overjoyed with my experience with Dr. Lawton’s office and the procedures, along with my final results. I would do it all over again. There was one particular front office staff that was rude, but other than that, everyone with nursing and doctor staff were GREAT!

This was my first plastic surgery experience and it was excellent. I have had a lot of pressure but hardly any pain since day 1. I am only post op day 5 so results are yet to be seen but I am pleased with the experience and could not have picked a better physician. Eagerly awaiting results but as for what I seen so far definitely pleased.
